Assigned by building company Wijnen Bouw Someren B.V., Voortman Steel Construction supplied and erected 4,000 tonnes of steel at business park Trade Port Noord in Venlo (NL). It concerns a large distribution centre with a total surface of 105,000 m2. Voortman completed the project a couple of weeks ago. The building is expected to be operational at the end of the year.
Wijnen Bouw B.V. and Voortman Steel Construction have also built designer Michael Kors’s European distribution centre together. We asked Mr. Henk Hubert from Wijnen Bouw why he assigned Voortman again and how he assesses the cooperation. He specifies: “For this project we were looking for a reliable party, which could fulfil its commitments regarding delivery and assembly within the set tight planning. That is why we chose Voortman Steel Construction. We have experienced an excellent cooperation. During the preparatory phase, we have jointly determined the planning and made clear agreements. We rate the project with an A+. In our view, the cooperation is certainly worth repeating!”
