Voortman Steel Construction realized a steel structure of 3,000 tonnes in Belgium, intended for the chemical industry. The complex steel structure is 50 meters high and equipped with multiple floors and supports for equipment. Next to the structure the project consists of stairs, platforms, fencing, cage ladders, floor systems and the associated pipe bridges. Voortman Steel Construction carries out this project entirely in-house, from engineering and production to assembly.
As the project was carried out in an operational work environment, safety was of the utmost importance. Since this is one of our core values, for us safe working starts already in the engineering phase. Our assembly teams are certified in accordance with SCC-Petrochemicals and they are used to working under challenging circumstances. Moreover, thanks to our flexible attitude, we can respond promptly to possible changes, both during engineering and assembling.
