In Delfzijl, The Netherlands, we participated in the construction of an innovative steel recycling factory for Purified Metal Company (PMC). On an annual basis, 150,000 tonnes of contaminated steel scrap are being made suitable for re-use here.
The factory of PMC contains a process building, consisting of eight building sections, and an office. We took care of the integral execution of the project, from engineering up to and including assembly. Our engineering department has made an earthquake-resistant design for the steel structure. Next to the steel, we also supplied and mounted stairs, cage ladders, fencing, grating platforms and the checker plate and hollow core concrete slab floors.
