Voortman Design and Build is building new business premises for construction and maintenance company Greep & Van der Burgh in Maassluis (NL). As the main contractor for this project, we take care of the engineering, the main calculation and the permit applications and we advise our client in the field of the installations.
The pile-driving activities for the construction of the foundation were completed this week. Next week we will start attaching the ring beam to the piles. Once the foundation has been finished, we first pour the floor of the ground level, after which we will continue to build the business premises. Our sister company Voortman De Haven produces the stairs for the building. They are also located in Maassluis and regularly work with our client Greep & Van der Burgh. As a result of this cooperation, Voortman Design and Build was commissioned for this project.
The building, designed by Van Vliet Bouwadvies, consists of a three-storey office and a large workshop with mezzanine. Three overhead doors will be installed on the side of the workshop. The high-quality facade cladding, the parapet with a natural stone finish and the curtain walls contribute to the luxurious appearance of the business premises, which will also be equipped with solar panels. If the construction proceeds according to plan, we will deliver the building shell in August.
