On the Oudeland business park in Berkel en Rodenrijs, we are involved in the construction of three business premises on behalf of Heembouw. It concerns two distribution centers - Fource Logistics and Oudeland - and a business premises for Zon Impex. This week we delivered the distribution center (DC) for Fource Logistics and we started with the assembly of DC Oudeland. The assembly of the building for Zon Impex is scheduled for January 2021.
For the new DC of car parts distributor Fource Logistics we supplied and mounted the steel structure and the floors. The sustainable building is completely self-sufficient in terms of energy and has a BREEAM Excellent qualification. It has a surface area of more than 50,000 square meters and consists of a warehouse and an office.
DC Oudeland has been designed by Heembouw Architects and has a surface area of approximately 20,300 square meters. The building consists of a warehouse, an office and a mezzanine. We supply and mount the 640 tonnes of steel structure and the concrete hollowcore slabs. Our assembly team started its activities this week, which will take about eight weeks. The sustainable distribution centre has the ambition of a BREEAM Very Good certification.
The new business premises for Zon Impex, wholesaler and trading company for the hotel and catering industry and supermarkets in the Benelux, will be built at a prominent high-profile location along the N471 and will have a high-quality appearance. For example, the building consists of two nested volumes with a different height. The warehouse has a height of approximately 11 meters. It will be surrounded by a second, lower volume containing the office, showroom and dispatch. The entire industrial building consists of 4,800 square meters. For this project, we supply and assemble the 200-tonnes steel structure, the floors and the parapet elements.
