For the new production site of Hordijk Packaging in Zaandam we supplied and mounted the steel structure and the floors. Recently, our assembly team has finished its activities here.
The new business premises of Hordijk, designed by Heembouw Architects, consist of a 22,500 square meters production hall and an office of approximately 1,300 square meters. The office is provided with a remarkable cantilever. In assignment of Heembouw we realised the 836 tonnes steel structure and mounted the hollow core slabs. Both parties were satisfied with the cooperation, as demonstrated by the fact that we have now been commissioned to build a distribution centre of more than 28,000 square meters. Project Manager Roël Baars from Heembouw specifies: “We are convinced of Voortman’s qualities in engineering, realization and collaboration. Their working method is structured and professional, with an emphasis on costs and planning.”
