Fine example of craftsmanship in new construction for Bosman Van Zaal

The Dutch company Bosman Van Zaal develops and constructs greenhouses for the international horticulture branch and also supplies the related technical systems. Due to the company’s growth, the construction of a new commercial building has become necessary. Heembouw B.V. is currently realizing a new production facility with office space at the Green Park Aalsmeer business park.

Special cause

Assigned by Heembouw, Voortman Steel Construction supplies and assembles the 1,000 tonnes steel structure, about 3,800 m2 precast hollow core slabs and about 340 m2 prefab concrete façade elements. The cooperation with Voortman was requested by the principal Bosman Van Zaal. Recently, the company purchased machines from our sister company Voortman Steel Machinery, which will be deployed in the manufacturing of greenhouse constructions.

Craftsmanship required

A honeycomb structured truss is given a prominent place in the façade of the new building, as a reference to the company logo of Bosman Van Zaal. The production of this truss, with a total length of 45 meters, required the necessary craftsmanship from our welders. This week, it was mounted on site.
